Human Resources Strategies for Academic Staff in State Universities During Covid-19 Period

After the first detection of Covid-19 in Turkey on March 11, 2020, when health concerns were high, services had to continue without interruption. This requirement made effective use HRM critical, and HR strategies suitable for period be developed. Especially higher education institutions, which are places where these produced theoretical sense, it arouses curiocity that applied academic staff. In this context, study aims reveal human resources implemented by state universities staff during period. study, 12 personnel department heads working selected as a sample from URAP success lists through purposive sampling. Qualitative content analyzes conducted data obtained applying sampling semi-structured interview technique. Data visualization is with MAXQDA 2020. As result determined digital virtual meeting It talent management practices, organizational agility, cyber security, online training, remote auditing, uncertainty tolerance, flexibility certain degree.
